What is the main purpose behind the creation of Bitcoin?

The idea began in 2008, as a reaction to the global financial crisis, which severely impacted economic systems around the world due to the financial world's reliance on banks as intermediaries for all financial transactions. Amidst a general dissatisfaction with banks and financial governance systems, the idea of separating banks from financial transactions emerged, the idea of decentralization, which means that transactions, whether transfers or electronic payments, can occur without the need for confirmation or validation from a third party. In this way, one could say that we do not need banks to participate in every transaction.

The main purpose and motivation behind the creation of a digital currency, Bitcoin, was to give complete financial control over the funds to the holder or earner instead of a bank🏛️ that holds, monitors, validates its transactions, or restricts them, and away from a government that has the authority to seize it. However, there were two important factors; without them, the idea would not succeed, which are security and privacy.
