French police rescued the father of a crypto millionaire after he was abducted in Paris and held for ransom... reportedly having a finger severed by his captors.

The hostage was found in a house south of Paris during a nighttime raid.

He was injured but survived.

5 suspects were arrested, including the alleged driver of the abduction vehicle.

It’s part of a growing wave of violent extortion targeting crypto elites in France—just months after the co-founder of Ledger was also kidnapped.

Prosecutors are investigating for kidnapping with “torture or a barbaric act.”
