A capsizing accident involving a passenger boat occurred near the Liuchong River Dongfeng Reservoir in Xinxin Miao Township, Qianxi City, Guizhou Province. At around 4 PM that day, a heavy rainstorm hit the Liuchong River, which is located upstream of the Wu River, causing two tourist boats on the river to capsize.

It is reported that the accident resulted in approximately 70 people, including crew members, falling into the water. As of 7 PM, more than 50 people have been rescued. Currently, relevant rescue departments in Guizhou are conducting rescue operations on site.
