The Senate Standing Committee on Information Technology and Telecommunication has requested a comprehensive briefing from the Ministry of IT and Telecom (MoIT&T) concerning the government’s recent plans to form a regulatory body for cryptocurrency and to launch the nation’s first homegrown Generative AI tool, “Zahanat AI”.
