Binance Square has reported:

"The European Union has officially adopted the Anti-Money Laundering Regulation (AMLR) to strengthen cryptocurrency oversight. The new rules will prohibit anonymous cryptocurrency wallets and privacy coins like Monero, Zcash, and Dash. Starting in 2027, all cryptocurrency transactions exceeding €1,000 will require identity verification, and a new AML authority will oversee large platforms."

In my opinion, it makes no sense; it conditions and controls only a few users who are already heavily regulated, while the regulations in the rest of the world are more lenient.

In the end, you end up losing in this world of Crypto; it becomes increasingly difficult to compete on equal terms.
