In this update, apps are allowed to facilitate transactions or transmissions of cryptocurrency on approved exchanges, as long as they are only offered in countries or regions where the app has the appropriate licenses and permissions to provide cryptocurrency exchange.

However, Apple continues to emphasize that all digital purchases for content experienced or consumed within the app must use in-app purchases. This means that apps should not include buttons, external links, or any other call to action that directs customers to purchase mechanisms other than in-app purchases.
