Bitcoin as a state reserve? Arizona is one step away
Content:
The Arizona legislature attempted to override the veto of Bill SB 1025, which proposed making Bitcoin an official state reserve.
However, the votes did not reach the required two-thirds majority:
House: 31 in favor, 25 against
Senate: 17 in favor, 11 against
What does this mean?
Although there is support, Bitcoin will not yet be part of the state's reserves. The attempt reflects a growing interest in integrating crypto into public policy.
Note:
These types of proposals show how cryptocurrencies are gaining ground in politics, but still face significant legislative barriers.
Do you think this is the kind of signal that announces a good time to consider investing?
