The altcoin season index created by Alphractal was developed based on price movements over the last 60 days. According to this data, only a few altcoins have currently managed to outperform Bitcoin. However, most of these altcoins consist of projects that have just entered the market.

In contrast, there has not yet been a strong recovery signal in established altcoins that have been in the market for a long time.

The most striking part of the report is the Bitcoin vs. altcoins position index. This chart depicts market dominance dynamics through colors:

🔸️Orange areas: Periods of Bitcoin dominance

🔸️Blue areas: Times when altcoins gain strength

🔸️Gray areas without signals: The best strategy may be not to invest in either side

According to Alphractal, the chart is currently mostly in the orange zone. This indicates that BTC dominance remains strong and altcoins have not yet collectively attacked.
