Stay SAFU – My Airdrop Safety Tips

Not every airdrop is safe — some are full of traps like wallet drainers and fake token approvals. That’s why it’s important to stay alert and protect your assets. In this post, I’m sharing how I personally avoid scams using #AirdropSafetyGuide.

Red Flags I Watch Out For:

Websites that look fake or slightly off from the real ones

No proper info about the team or project background

Smart contracts that ask for suspicious permissions

Airdrops that sound “too good to be true” with unrealistic rewards

How I Check If It’s a Genuine Project:

I look up the project’s name on Twitter, CoinMarketCap, and Google

I check their contract on blockchain explorers like Etherscan to see activity

I join their official Telegram/Discord to see how real and active the community is

If it’s hosted on platforms like Galxe or Zealy, I make sure it’s officially verified

Scams I’ve Seen Often:

Fake DMs pretending to be airdrop bots

Sites asking for full wallet access or seed phrases (never share that!)

Projects that force you to deposit real tokens on testnets

Airdrop I Skipped – And Glad I Did:

One airdrop promised high rewards but asked for unlimited approval on a token I didn’t even recognize. There was no official source or community – I avoided it, and later found out it was a scam.

My Advice:

Always do your own research. Don’t rush. Even one wrong click can cost you your wallet. Use #AirdropSafetyGuide to spread awareness and help others stay safe!
