Stay SAFU – Airdrop Safety Guide
Not every airdrop is safe. These days, scams are getting smarter — from wallet drainers to shady token approvals. That’s why I’m sharing my personal tips using #AirdropSafetyGuide to help others stay protected.
Red Flags I Always Watch For:
Fake or cloned websites that look just like the original
No clear team or roadmap behind the project
Smart contracts asking for unnecessary permissions
Overhyped promotions promising huge rewards with little effort
How I Check If a Project Is Legit:
I always search the project on platforms like CoinMarketCap or Twitter
I check their contract on Etherscan or similar explorers
I look into their community on Discord or Telegram to see real feedback
If the project is on Galxe or Zealy, I verify if it's officially listed
Scam Tactics I’ve Seen:
Links sent through DMs pretending to be “urgent airdrop claims”
Fake testnet tasks asking for your mainnet tokens
Airdrops that require full access to your wallet instead of just view access
One Airdrop I Skipped — And Why:
I once came across an airdrop that asked me to “approve unlimited token access” on a brand-new token. No info about the team, no official links, and it wasn’t listed anywhere reliable — I walked away immediately.
Final Advice:
Always double-check before connecting your wallet. Never approve anything you're unsure about. A few minutes of research can save your funds!
