$BTC

Explanation

When you see BTC Coin Pairs on Binance or any crypto exchange, it means you're trading a coin against Bitcoin (BTC).

Examples:

ETH/BTC → Trading Ethereum in exchange for Bitcoin

DOGE/BTC → Trading Dogecoin with Bitcoin

BNB/BTC, SOL/BTC, and many more

Why are BTC Pairs Important?

1. High Liquidity – BTC is the most traded asset in crypto

2. Price Benchmark – You can compare altcoin values relative to BTC

3. Altcoin Gateway – Many coins are first listed with BTC pairs

Note:

When you see a coin priced in BTC, it’s not in USD — it’s the value of that coin in Bitcoin.

Example: 1 ADA = 0.000008 BTC

Tip:

If you're new to crypto, start with USDT or fiat pairs like PKR/USDT, as BTC pairs can be more complex to understand for beginners
