an example is that at this moment it is -40% if it holds this value for 24 hours it decreases the percentage by -30% -20%... until 0%

I bought a coin yesterday that was -40%, today it is at -2% and the value is lower than when it was -40%, leaving my balance negative. The question is... why does this happen??? Help!!!!
