🇪🇺 The EU will ban anonymous cryptocurrencies by 2027

According to new rules, starting from 2027, European crypto services (exchanges, wallets, etc.) will no longer be able to support anonymous tokens like Monero (XMR) and Zcash (ZEC).

Measures to combat money laundering are also being tightened: all transactions exceeding €1000 will require mandatory KYC compliance.
