Tether issued 3 billion USDT amid market stabilization
The increase in issuance reflects demand for liquidity
Tether continues active issuance of stablecoins. Over the past three days, the company printed 2 billion USDT on the Ethereum network and another 1 billion on the TRON network. This indicates a growing demand for liquidity and trading activity in the crypto market.
According to Spot On Chain, the TRON network currently ranks first in the volume of USDT issued — $71.71 billion. Since the beginning of 2025, Tether has already issued 12 billion USDT only on this network.
Strengthening control: reports on risks and gray transactions
The increase in issuance coincided with the publication of Bitrace's report on criminal activity. In 2024, high-risk addresses received over $649 billion. This is 7 percent more than the year before.
The most suspicious transactions were recorded on the Ethereum and TRON networks. The reason is the popularity of ERC20 and TRC20 stablecoins. They are used in both legal and shadow operations.
Addresses involved in such schemes are often associated with large volumes of USDT and USDC. Earlier, Tether disclosed details about the backing of the XAUT token, demonstrating a commitment to transparency.
