PANews May 2 news, according to Jin Shi reports, the Chicago Board Options Exchange Global Markets Company has hired former competitor leader Craig Donohue as its CEO. The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) is one of the largest derivatives exchanges. On Thursday, the company announced that Donohue would succeed Frederic Tomczyk, who has been serving as the interim leader. Donohue will join the board on May 7 and take over as CEO. As a veteran in the derivatives industry, Donohue served as CEO of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) for 20 years until his retirement in 2012. He later became the CEO and chairman of the Options Clearing Corporation, the largest stock derivatives clearinghouse.
