Binance Latest News: New Listings, Airdrops, and Regulatory Updates
As of May 1, 2025, Binance continues its efforts and progress in almost every aspect. Recently, the exchange has added HYPER, INIT, KERNEL, SIGN, and WCT as new loanable assets on VIP Loan. Additionally, Binance Earn has introduced Solv Protocol BTC Staking on On-Chain Yields, providing new opportunities for users to increase their earnings.
Binance is constantly working to convert and improve the assets on its platform. Recently, the conversion of selected token balances to USDC has been completed. In the futures market, updates have been made to the capped funding rate of the USDⓈ-M ALPACAUSDT perpetual contract and the funding rate settlement frequency of the USDⓈ-M SIGNUSDT perpetual contract.
An important update has also been issued regarding the new deposit requirements for Binance P2P merchant levels, highlighting the importance of maintaining the platform's security and compliance.
On the regulatory front, Binance Dubai (FZE) is migrating user accounts in the UAE, which is a locally regulated exchange under the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA). This change will result in the delisting of certain privacy coins and non-AED fiat currencies, starting on April 25, 2025, with withdrawals ceasing by June 8, 2025.
