The meme coin WIFECoin was created 'for fun,' as a satire on tokens about girls and dogs. But it was backed by smart marketing and a witty idea: 'If DOGE has a brother, and SHIB has a sister, then now there’s a wife!'
One crypto enthusiast took a risk and bought $250 worth of WIFECoin tokens before it became popular. Three weeks later, the project was at the top of discussions on Crypto Twitter, and the token price increased nearly 10,000 times.
At the peak of its value, the investor's portfolio was estimated at $2.4 million. He sold only part of it, leaving the rest 'to chance.'
