When I look for airdrops, I always check if the project is safe. There are many scams out there, and some can drain your wallet.

Red flags I avoid:

– Fake websites with small changes in the URL.

– Projects that ask for private keys (never give them!).

– No team info or no social media activity.

– Unknown tokens asking for approval right away.

I always search the project on Twitter and see if real people talk about it. I also use tools like Token Sniffer or check the contract on Etherscan to see if it's verified.

Once I saw an airdrop that asked me to “claim” tokens, but it wanted unlimited wallet access — I didn’t sign it.

Better safe than sorry!
