Two members of the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) recently crossed the international border into Bangladesh with weapons, attempting to capture Bangladeshi farmers who were tending to their crops inside Bangladesh. Upon learning of the incident, Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel quickly responded to the location, where they apprehended the two BSF soldiers.

The Indian BSF soldiers, who were captured with their weapons, later apologised for the incident. Following the proper procedures, the two BSF members were handed over to the BSF authorities.

THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THIS MONTH THAT BSF MEMBERS INTRUDED IN TO BANGLADESH AND WERE CAUGHT BY BORDER GUARD BANGLADESH OR LOCALS. EACH TIME THEY APOLOGISED AND WERE HANDED OVER AFTER COMPLETING FORMAL PROCESS. THIS IS A MATTER OF SHAME FOR INDIA.$
