The woman sent ChatGPT a photo of coffee grounds at the bottom of her cup and asked for a fortune reading. The AI responded with a prediction of a romantic affair involving her husband and a young woman whose name starts with “E.”

Taking the AI’s words seriously, she kicked the man out, initiated divorce proceedings, and even informed their children.
