Scammers are evolving fast. One trick I dodged recently was a fake Arbitrum airdrop that mimicked the real site almost perfectly.

How I Verified It Was a Scam:

The domain used a “.xyz” instead of the official “.org”

The contract wanted full access to spend tokens in my wallet

There was no link from Arbitrum’s official X profile

Top Tips:

Always use a separate wallet for airdrops

Never approve unknown smart contracts

Don’t fall for countdown timers or FOMO tactics

If it feels shady — it probably is

The safest airdrop is one you don’t regret claiming
