US President Donald Trump gave an ironic response when asked who his favorite candidate would be to become the new pope.
"I would like to be pope. That would be my first choice," the president said as he left the White House on Tuesday afternoon, the 29th.

Trump attended the funeral of Pope Francis on Saturday, the 26th, at the Vatican, alongside dozens of other global leaders.
The conclave to choose Francis's successor will begin on June 7. The cardinals will make the selection behind closed doors and usually elect one of their own to lead the Catholic Church, although there is no formal veto on choosing others for the role.
