🪙 A "space race" for accumulating BTC is unfolding between countries, believes Bo Hines, executive director of the U.S. presidential council on digital assets.

According to him, the government views Bitcoin as digital gold and will find a way to purchase the maximum amount of BTC for a strategic reserve within a budget-neutral strategy.

According to CoinGecko data for April 2025, governments of various countries hold over 463,760 BTC (2.3% of the total supply). However, most of these assets were confiscated.
