The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) postponed its final decision on the XRP Spot ETF to June, frustrating the market's more optimistic expectations. The agency also delayed the analysis of the staking ETFs for Dogecoin and Ethereum, with the possibility of another delay until mid-October.

Although this postponement may seem pessimistic at first glance, it did not have a significant impact on the market. The Commission has been slowly advancing in decisions that set precedents, such as an agreement with Ripple, but may decide on an XRP ETF before October.

Currently, the crypto industry is so eager to receive an XRP ETF that false rumors are causing confusion in the market. The first asset of this kind in the world began trading in Brazil last week, further fueling optimism.

However, the SEC officially postponed the Franklin Templeton XRP ETF proposal, cooling those feelings. The Commission did not stop there; it also postponed the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF proposal, as well as one for a staking ETF.
