EOS-Current price: 0.6693 USDT (-4.18%)
EOS - once the 'Messi of foundational blockchain' - now resembles a backup player who doesn't get to play. The drop to 0.6535 USDT was no different from slipping while auditioning for... Ethereum killer.
1H frame: Bollinger Band: Price just tested the lower band (0.6644) and bounced back. Short-term recovery is possible, but it could also just be a 'dead cat bounce'. MACD: Still below the 0 line, histogram is shortening, indicating selling pressure is weakening. But not enough to call it a reversal. RSI(6/12/24): All below 43, reflecting a state of 'total boredom' – enough to enter the watchlist for bottom fishing but not yet to take it home.
Frame 4H & D1:
4H: Still a downtrend, volume spiked at the end of the session, sharks may have just sold off and bought a little back to 'bait'. Be careful of false breakouts.
D1: EOS is returning to test last month's bottom (0.64 - 0.66). If it loses this level, a ticket back to 0.58 is real.
Project assessment - looking from 2025: EOS was once hyped as the 'Ethereum 2.0' platform, with a 4 billion dollar ICO. But now:
The number of active dApps is very low, developers are leaving, the community has little discussion, the EOS Foundation's governance organization keeps... changing names to avoid embarrassment.
But don't underestimate: Old tokens, large volume, easy to pump, and still a favorite among market makers.
Swing trader: Watch for a rebound in the range of 0.675 – 0.685 to exit. Short-term RSI is indicating oversold already.
Spiritual investor: Set an alert at 0.60 – if it reaches, pray for a pump and then enter the trade. For those who haven't entered yet: Hold off on falling in love. The project lacks vitality, but if BTC pulls, EOS could still rise to 0.75 – 0.8.
EOS is no longer the 'Ethereum Killer', but now it's the 'Chart filler'. However, with a high 24h volume (27.39 million EOS), each dump could be a gust before taking off... or before heading to the altcoin graveyard of 2018.
"EOS - Are you going down or are you about to take off? No one knows, just that those who hold for too long... often get hurt!"
