1. Do Your Own Research (DYOR):

Do not trust any project just because it offers an airdrop. Research the project thoroughly, check its official website, its social media accounts, and the community's opinions about it.

2. Never share your private keys:

No legitimate airdrop will ask for your private key or recovery phrase (seed phrase). Sharing them = losing your money.

3. Use a dedicated wallet for airdrops:

Create a new wallet specifically for airdrops to avoid exposing your main wallet to any risks.

4. Beware of phishing links:

Only enter airdrop links from official sources. Always verify the authenticity of the link.

5. Do not pay to receive an airdrop:

Real airdrops are free. If you are asked to pay a fee upfront, that is a warning sign.

6. Do not connect your wallet to unknown sites:

Some projects ask to connect your wallet; ensure the site is trustworthy and has been security audited before taking any steps.

7. Review token permissions:

After receiving tokens, use sites like revoke.cash to revoke unnecessary permissions that may threaten your security.

8. Beware of dusting attacks:

Sometimes you receive tokens with very small values from unknown sources – do not interact with them, as they may be a tracking or scam method.
