To send an item using AirDrop, first ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on both devices. Next, open the item you want to share, tap the Share button, then tap the AirDrop icon. Finally, select the recipient from the list of nearby devices and wait for them to accept the transfer.

Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Prepare your devices:

Ensure Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are turned on: on both your device and the recipient's device.

Open Control Center: on your iPhone or iPad (swipe down from the top-right corner).

Tap and hold the wireless connection icon: (top-left of the Control Center) to expand it.

Tap AirDrop: and choose "Everyone" or "Contacts Only" to control who can send items to you.

On a Mac, click the AirDrop icon in the Finder sidebar and select "Everyone" or "Contacts Only".

2. Choose the item to share:

Open the app: containing the item you want to share (e.g., Photos, Files, Messages).

Select the item: you want to send.

3. Initiate the transfer:

Tap the Share button: within the app.

Tap the AirDrop icon .

4. Wait for the recipient to accept:
