🚨🚨🚨The "ADP" company reported on Wednesday that businesses sharply slowed their hiring pace in April, as they braced for the potential impacts of tariffs imposed by President Donald Trump on other countries.
🚨🚨🚨Private sector jobs increased by only 62,000 during the month, the lowest growth since July 2024, amid rising uncertainty about the size of the tariffs and their potential impact on hiring plans and broader economic conditions.
🚨🚨🚨This figure represents a slowdown compared to the downwardly revised increase of 147,000 jobs in March, and it also came in lower than experts' estimates, who were expecting an increase of 114,000 jobs.
