⏺ 12 states have filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump in the U.S. Court of International Trade in Washington, D.C.
The lawsuit claims that the president does not have the authority to impose tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) without congressional involvement.
The states that filed the lawsuit are: New York, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, New Mexico, Oregon, and Vermont.
