Mastercard (NYSE:MA) has started processing transactions in stablecoins together with cryptocurrency issuers with stable rates Circle and Paxos, as well as the payment system Nuvei.

Thanks to the collaboration of the companies, over 150 million merchants using Mastercard now have the opportunity to accept stablecoins as payment. Apparently, this refers to the digital assets USD Coin (USDC), created by Circle, and Pax Dollar (USDP), issued by Paxos.
