#ArizonaBTCReserve

Arizona is poised to become the first U.S. state to establish a state-managed Bitcoin reserve. The Arizona Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act (SB1025), co-sponsored by Senators Wendy Rogers and Jeff Weninger, would allow up to 10% of public funds—including those managed by the state treasurer and retirement systems—to be invested in Bitcoin and other digital assets. The bill includes provisions for secure storage, such as cold wallets and multi-signature protocols, to mitigate the risks associated with cryptocurrency volatility. If enacted, Arizona would be a pioneer in integrating digital assets into public finance.
