Recently, there has been a lot of discussion on Twitter about the project @ethos_network, many big players have joined.

In simple terms, Ethos is your credit card in the Web3 world. If others want to assess your reliability, they just need to check your evaluations and vouching records. In future Web3 collaborations, good credit is your solid strength. It feels somewhat similar to the Alipay Sesame Credit score in Web2, where good behavior gradually accumulates credit points.
2️⃣ How to navigate Ethos?
🔸 Credit Scoring System:
- Giving positive reviews or receiving good reviews can earn points.
- Receiving a negative review will deduct points (but the reviewer can still gain experience points).
- Has strict anti-cheating mechanisms: random reviews will deduct credit points.
🔸 Credit Rating Division:
0-800: Untrustworthy
800-1199: Under review
1200-1599: Neutral
1600-1999: Good reputation
2000+: Model User
The higher the score, the more opportunities there are!
3️⃣ Vouching Mechanism:
You can use ETH to vouch for others. The larger the guarantee amount, the more obvious the improvement in the other person's credit. But be careful: if the other party defaults, both your deposit and credit will be affected. You can choose friends you know or some well-known individuals to vouch for.
4️⃣ Invitation Mechanism:
Invitation relationships last for 90 days. For every point the invitee gains, the inviter can synchronously gain 0.2 points. So finding a reliable recommender is very important!
5️⃣ Credit Market:
You can 'trade' credit like stocks! Watch the reputation trends of certain individuals, and you can make money by buying and selling based on their reputation.

Ethos is building a credit system for the Web3 era! The better the credit, the more opportunities there are.
🔹 How does Ethos work?
Ethos dynamically calculates reputation scores through on-chain social verification (reviews, vouching, punishment), similar to traditional financial credit scores. The score is influenced by the following factors:
✅ EVM address history (transactions, NFT holdings, etc.) – Assess on-chain activity.
✅ X (Twitter) account – Account age and activity impact initial score (new accounts may be penalized).
✅ Inviter's reputation (recent updates reduced weight by 75% to decrease dependency).
Initial score: 1200 (It is recommended to bind a previously used small or medium wallet when linking your wallet.)
🔹 Core Mechanism
1️⃣ Reviewing (Reviewing)
- On-chain transparency, credible and trustworthy.
- New feature: Anonymous comments (zero-knowledge proof protects privacy, but requires reputation verification).
2️⃣ Vouching (Vouching)
- Stake ETH to vouch for others, can withdraw at any time.
- The guarantor's reputation improves, but if there is a breach, the guarantor will also suffer.
3️⃣ Punishment (Slashing)
- Similar to PoS mechanism, users can propose to deduct others' reputation points.
- Need to stake your own reputation, executed after community voting passes.
4️⃣ Invitation System (currently)
- Restrict growth to ensure quality & resistance to witch attacks.
- Gradually opening up in the future.
🔹 Why is Ethos important?

- Is there a lot of fraud in anonymous environments? Ethos uses a 'reputation proof' mechanism to benefit good people and make it hard for fraudsters!

Just click here app.ethos.network/directory to see which big players still have invite codes. Open their Twitter profiles, reach out sincerely, and you may get invited. Many of my friends got in this way.
