ETF stands for Exchange-Traded Fund — a type of investment fund that trades on stock exchanges, much like a stock. ETFs can hold assets like stocks, bonds, commodities, or even cryptocurrencies.
A Bitcoin ETF already exists (like BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust), allowing traditional investors to gain exposure to Bitcoin without directly owning or handling Bitcoin themselves.
Similarly, an XRP ETF would be:
A fund that tracks the price of XRP (Ripple’s cryptocurrency).
Tradable on traditional stock markets.
Allowing investors to buy shares representing XRP holdings without dealing with crypto wallets or exchanges.
