EOF is being removed from the upcoming Fusaka upgrade by Ethereum developers.
Odaily claims that Ethereum core developers have made the decision to leave the EVM Object Format (EOF) out of the upcoming Fusaka update. The development team's agreement to give PeerDAS progress first priority, the short timescale for the Fusaka upgrade, and the possible technical concerns around EOF all had an impact on the choice. Furthermore, community input was not adequately incorporated into the decision-making process. With intentions to incorporate roughly 15 EIP contents, EOF was first designed to optimize the EVM bytecode structure, improving security and speed.
