Trump: Reducing tariffs leads to a decrease in income tax

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Sunday that when tariffs are reduced, many people's income taxes will significantly decrease, and may even be completely eliminated.

He continued in a post on Truth Social that the focus will be on those whose annual income is less than $200,000.

The U.S. President added, "As huge numbers of jobs are already being created, new factories are being built or planned. This will be a golden opportunity for America! The external tax authority is in progress.

Trump urged Republicans in Congress to prepare a bill that includes significant tax cuts.

On another note, Trump revealed that the latest report on illegal immigration shows a decrease of about 99.9% at the U.S. border.

He said this is the best recorded number ever. Three people entered, compared to hundreds of thousands in the previous administration. We have never seen such a difference before. Congratulations to America.

As part of efforts to avoid increases in tariffs, the administration of President Donald Trump has set a framework for managing negotiations with trading partners rushing to finalize agreements.

Accordingly, a unified model addressing common concerns will be used to initiate dialogue, and among the areas raised are: tariffs, non-tariff barriers, digital trade, economic security, and business interests.
