U.S. President Donald Trump announced on Social media that $XRP $SOL and $ADA will be included in a new U.S. Crypto Reserve, aiming to strengthen the crypto industry after what he called "corrupt attacks" by the Biden Administration.
His Twitter posts explained that an Executive Order, signed in January, directed a Presidential Working Group to move forward with creating a strategic crypto reserve.
Surprisingly, $BTC and $ETH were initially left out, despite being the largest crypto currencie by market cap.
However, shortly after, Trump posted again, confirming that BTC, ETH, and other valuable cryptocurrencies would also be added to the reserve.
This move follows Trump's campaign promises to make America the "Crypto Capital of the World" and mirrors earlier legislative efforts by figures like Senator Cynthia Lummis, who had pushed for a strategic Bitcoin reserve.
