Techcombank Chairman speaks out about rumors of participating in blockchain

At the 2025 annual general meeting of shareholders, Mr. Hung Anh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Techcombank shared that participating in blockchain, building a digital asset exchange, or a payment switch system is part of the digital transformation strategy, not something too new.

He emphasized that if the law allows, Techcombank will actively participate, contribute to the development, and own these technology platforms.

However, official participation still depends on the approval process, and all information will be publicly disclosed by the bank when completed.
