Bitcoin, more like gold than tech stocks?

So far this year, Bitcoin has dropped slightly by 1.5%, outperforming the Nasdaq (-7%) but underperforming gold (+24%).

In terms of correlation: the 30-day correlation coefficient between BTC and gold is as high as 0.70, while BTC and the Nasdaq only have 0.53.

Simply put, Bitcoin now resembles "digital gold" more than it does "leveraged tech stocks."

Last week, BTC surged by 10%, marking the strongest wave since the last election victory of Trump in the United States. Meanwhile, the U.S. tariff policy continues to exacerbate market uncertainty.

The trend has already provided the answer; the only question left is whether you dare to take it.
