Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus departed from Rome and began his journey back to his home country on Sunday. This was one day after he had attended the solemn funeral mass held in honor of Pope Francis. The ceremony took place at the historic and sacred St. Peter's Square, located in Vatican City, where thousands had gathered to pay their final respects to the late pontiff. Professor Yunus, along with other international dignitaries and religious leaders, participated in the service to honor the life and legacy of Pope Francis before leaving Italy.
