#XRPETF Key events

• Approval of ETF for XRP: The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) approved the launch of an exchange-traded fund (ETF) by ProShares Trust based on XRP. The public launch is scheduled for April 30, 2025. This event may attract institutional and retail investors, increasing liquidity and interest in XRP. 

• Launch of XRP futures: CME Group announced the launch of cash-settled futures contracts on XRP starting May 19, 2025, subject to regulatory approval. This will expand hedging opportunities and attract new market participants. 

• Ripple's refusal of IPO: Ripple officially confirmed that it does not plan to go public in 2025. Ripple's President Monica Long explained this decision as a need to focus on product development and expanding market presence.
