Cryptocurrencies leave the platforms and reach the daily lives of Brazilians

The traditional banking system has undergone a major transformation in recent years, initiated by digital banks and the implementation of solutions aimed at service integration, such as Open Finance and Banking as a Service (BaaS). Amid these changes in the way people and businesses handle finances, a new reality is already starting to be part of the daily lives of Brazilians: the payment for basic products and services using cryptocurrencies.

Today, it is not uncommon to find commercial establishments in Brazil that already accept transactions in digital currencies, especially retail chains. And this is a global trend: in the United States, 37% of e-commerce sellers already accept digital currencies, and sales involving cryptocurrencies in the segment have already surpassed $2,902,657,707,518 billion, according to data from the payment platform B2BinPay.
