“Images create culture” is the phrase resonating in Tokyo, the capital of Japan, as the fourth global monument to Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, was unveiled. In this way, the Japanese capital now hosts a physical tribute to the mysterious creator(s) of the pioneering digital currency.
The monument was unveiled at a special ceremony that also formed part of a new Bitcoin Base event, a physical space intended to become a nerve center for the bitcoin community in the city identified as the political, economic, and cultural center of Japan. The statue not only honors the mysterious founder of Bitcoin but also symbolizes the strength of a global community united under the motto: “We are all Satoshi!”
The unveiling of the monument was part of the inauguration ceremony of Bitcoin Base, a new space dedicated to the bitcoin community in Tokyo, designed to promote education, the exchange of ideas, and the adoption of BTC, as shared through its account on the social network X.
