Real Experience: "Losing 200% on $DEGOUSDT Taught Me This"
Hey traders,
I recently took a hard loss — around 200% — on DEGOUSDT.
Instead of getting emotional, I decided to dig deep and figure out what lessons I should learn from it.
Here’s what I realized (and I hope it helps you too):
1. Never enter a trade without a plan.
I jumped in without a solid entry and exit strategy. Big mistake.
From now on: Plan the trade, and trade the plan.
2. Set Stop-Losses — and actually respect them.
Hoping that "it'll come back up" just drains your portfolio.
Risk management isn't optional — it’s survival.
3. Avoid over-leveraging or over-sizing.
Sometimes we go too heavy on one trade because we feel "sure" about it.
But in crypto, nothing is 100% sure. Always size your trades wisely.
4. Respect market conditions.
I didn’t pay enough attention to the overall market sentiment.
No asset moves in isolation. Check Bitcoin dominance, market trends, news — they all matter.
5. Emotional trading is deadly.
Revenge trading or FOMO entries are silent killers.
Stay calm. If you’re emotional, it's better to walk away for a while.
Bottom Line:
Losses are part of the game — but lessons are the real profit.
I'm sharing this so we can all grow smarter together.
