Islamabad: An agreement has been signed between the Pakistan Crypto Council and World Liberty Financial in the federal capital Islamabad.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Finance said that World Liberty Financial (a decentralized financial platform supported by US President Donald Trump) has signed a historic memorandum of understanding with the Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) to accelerate blockchain innovation, stablecoin adoption, and the integration of decentralized financial systems in Pakistan.
According to the statement, the World Liberty Financial delegation, including Zachary Folkman, Zachary Witkoff, and Chase Hero, met with Pakistan's top leadership, including the Prime Minister, Chief of Army Staff, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Information, and Minister of Defense.
The statement said that the purpose of these meetings is to formalize cooperation to promote blockchain innovation, stablecoin adoption, and the integration of decentralized financial systems in Pakistan.
At the signing ceremony of the agreements, Federal Minister for Information Atta Tarar stated that a new era of investment and development in the fields of crypto and digital finance is beginning in Pakistan.
