The outcome of the SEC's lawsuit against Ripple is a crucial factor for the approval of spot ETFs. The launch of XRP futures by CME Group on May 19, 2025, is considered a positive step toward the possibility of creating spot ETFs. Brazil has already launched the world's first spot XRP ETF.
