Interest in XRP increased after Donald Trump's victory in the US elections and intensified when Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse dined with Trump about two weeks ago. The rise in the token's price was also supported by rumors that an exchange-traded fund for XRP (ETF) would be approved in the US.

Recently, the number of large XRP holders has also significantly increased. The number of unique addresses holding this cryptocurrency with amounts over $100,000 grew from 14,000 to 108,500 since November 5.
