5. When retail traders stop-loss their short positions, and the funding rate drops, the whales will close some long positions, causing a drop and then liquidating a wave of long positions, conveniently inducing shorts. 6. The back-and-forth rapid rises and falls clear a wave of long positions and induce a wave of short positions; the funding rate goes up again. At 10:00 AM, the funding rate had already dropped to 0.02, then a rapid drop followed by a rapid rise, and the funding rate went back up to 0.35%.
