Binance Alpha Points are a scoring system implemented by Binance to evaluate user activity within the Binance Alpha and Binance Wallet ecosystem. These points determine a user's eli#TRXETF for various campaigns, such as:
Token Generation Event (TGE) participation: Access to early-stage token sales.
Alpha token airdrops: Receiving free tokens of projects listed on Binance Alpha.
How are Binance Alpha Points Calculated?
Your Binance Alpha Points are calculated daily based on the sum of two main factors over the past 15 days:
Balance Points: These are earned based on the total assets you hold on:
Binance Exchange (Spot listed tokens across all accounts and the Binance Alpha account).
Binance Wallet (limited to Binance Alpha tokens and tokens available on the Binance spot market only).
The more assets you hold, the more Balance Points you accumulate daily, following a tiered system (e.g., holding $100-$999 might earn 1 point per day).
Volume Points: These are earned based on your purchase volume of Alpha tokens through:
Binance Exchange.
Binance Keyless Wallet (Web3 Wallet).
You earn more points as your purchase volume increases, with additional points awarded for each doubling of your purchase amount (e.g., spending $2 might earn 1 point, $4 earns 2 points, $8 earns 3 points, and so on). Note that selling Alpha tokens does not contribute to your points.
Your total Binance Alpha Points are the sum of your daily Balance Points and Volume Points accumulated over the last 15 days. This means your point total can fluctuate based on your recent activity and holdings.
How to Check Your Binance Alpha Points:
You can easily check your Binance Alpha Points within the Binance App:
Open the Binance App.
Tap the search bar at the top of the homepage.
Type in "Alpha Point" and search.
You should see an entry to check your Alpha Points. Tap on it to view your current score and details on how they are calculated.
Key Things to Understand About Binance Alpha Points:
Eligibility: Alpha Points determine your ability to participate in specific Binance Alpha campaigns like airdrops and TGEs. Often, a minimum point threshold is required.
Dynamic Score: Your score is based on the last 15 days of activity, so consistent engagement is important.
No Splitting Accounts: Sub-account balances are merged into the master account for point calculation.
Binance Alpha: This is a section on Binance that highlights early-stage crypto projects. Earning Alpha Points is linked to your interaction with this ecosystem.
Airdrop for SIGN: As mentioned previously, the upcoming listing of EthSign (SIGN) on April 28th on Binance Alpha will include an airdrop for users who meet a designated Alpha Points threshold, which will be announced on the day of the listing.
By understanding how Binance Alpha Points are earned and used, you can strategically engage with the Binance Alpha ecosystem to potentially benefit from early-stage token opportunities and airdrops.
