Uncle Scrooge's Digital Treasure
There was Uncle Scrooge, immersed in his usual sea of gold coins. The gleaming shine was almost hypnotic, if not for a small detail that made him frown with a wrinkle of confusion. Amidst the piles of dollars and shields, rested, solitary and shining, a different coin.
"But what is this?", croaked the richest duck in the world, picking up the mysterious coin with tweezers. It bore a stylized "B", intertwined in a peculiar way.
At that exact moment, Huey, Dewey, and Louie rushed into the vault, their eyes shining with curiosity.
"Grandpa Scrooge, what did you think?", asked Huey, the most eager of the three.
Uncle Scrooge raised the coin, examining it closely. "I found this... thing. It seems valuable, but I can't exchange it for more coins! What nonsense!"
Dewey, always the smartest, stepped forward. "Grandpa, I think I know what this is! It's a BTTc!"
"Um... BTTc?", repeated Uncle Scrooge, sounding as if he had swallowed a lemon. "And what the hell do I do with a 'BTTc'? Can I dive into it? Can I build a tower with them?"
Louie, with a mischievous smile, grabbed his tablet and showed the screen to his grandfather. "Grandpa, people buy and sell BTTc online! They say the price goes up and down faster than Donald trying to get a job!"
Uncle Scrooge's eyes widened. "So... it's not made of real gold?"
"No, grandpa", the triplets replied in unison.
A silence settled in the vault, broken only by the clinking of gold coins as Uncle Scrooge let the BTTc drop back into the middle of his fortune.
"Humph!", he grumbled, crossing his arms. "Coins that I can't touch, that make no noise when I dive... What a boring invention!"
The next day, the triplets found Uncle Scrooge sitting in the middle of his coins, wearing virtual reality glasses. On the screen, he was watching colorful graphs going up and down frantically.
"Grandpa, what are you doing?", asked Huey, curious.
Uncle Scrooge took off his glasses, a strange gleam in his eyes. "I'm... watching my virtual BTTcs, you little rascals! It seems that this 'boring invention' has tripled in value since yesterday! Who would have thought that dancing numbers on a screen could give me more headaches... and maybe more money than these piles of metal!"
