$ETH The Ethereum network is preparing for a major upgrade known as "Pectra," scheduled for May 7, 2025.

This upgrade combines the improvements of Prague and Elysium, aiming to enhance scalability, storage efficiency, and user experience.

Among the key features is the addition of EIP-7702, which allows regular accounts to temporarily function as smart contracts, enabling advanced features such as transaction aggregation and social account recovery.

The storage limit for each validator will also be raised from 32 Ethereum to 2048 Ethereum thanks to EIP-7251, which contributes to simplifying storage processes and reducing network fragmentation.

Additionally, the data capacity in each block will double, enhancing the scalability of layer two solutions and increasing the overall network capacity.
